Tobin Conley, DelCor

Tobin Conley joined DelCor in 2001 as a Strategic Consultant. With almost 40 years of experience in the nonprofit, higher education, and association communities, Tobin Conley has considerable knowledge of the administrative practices and information technology (IT) processes of the nonprofit sector. Mr. Conley supports DelCor clients with the following services:

– Applying DelCor’s IT Maturity Model (ITMM) to assess the effective use of technology in associations and nonprofits
– Technology strategic planning to align the use of technology with the organization’s mission and business needs
– Digital strategies and site usability testing
– E-Learning strategies
– System assessments and selection (e.g., AMS, CRM, CMS, LMS)
– Facilitation and strategic guidance in applying various technologies to serve member needs
– Disaster recovery planning

Mr. Conley is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in recognition of his knowledge of and involvement in the association community. He is also recognized as a Certified Information Professional (CIP) as conferred by the Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM), a designation created to recognize those with the ability to protect and manage information and develop organization-wide strategies based on established methodologies and industry best practices.

Mr. Conley holds a B.A. degree in Political Philosophy from Michigan State University, Cum Laude, as well as an M.A. degree in History and an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining DelCor, Mr. Conley served as Vice President of Membership for the International Sign Association. He has also held previous positions at the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U), United Educators’ (UE) Risk Retention Group, and the National Association of College & University Business Officers (NACUBO).
